The City Government of Davao introduces the first ever Indak-indak inspired dance competition for employees dubbed Hataw Kadayawan as part of the Araw ng mga Empleyado on August 9, 2019 at Rizal Park.
The Hataw Kadayawan was a benchmark from the City’s Indak-indak sa kadalanan from the mechanics to the execution. It was participated by five (5) offices namely, Sangguniang Panlungsod, City Veterinarian’s Office, City Engineer’s Office, and a fusion of City Accountant’s and City Planning and Development Offices; and won respectively.
Along with the Hataw Kadayawan was the Food Festival which was open to all, not only to the employees of the City Government, from 9 AM to 9 PM. The Food Festival was participated by a number or concessionaires from small and rising to big food businesses. There were also concessionaires whose products are for beauty and wellness.
Every year, the Araw ng mga Empleyado is celebrated packed with perks and prizes for the employees. This year, with the Hataw Kadayawan and Food Festival, employees were given more than just perks and prizes- an opportunity to showcase their talents in the sense of culture.
