In accordance to the pronouncement of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) placing Davao City under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) from July 1 to July 15, 2020, the City Government of Davao released a Memorandum Order No, 012-2020 directing all of its offices to be in full operation effective July 6, 2020.
In the new work arrangement, all city government employees shall be required to physically report to work from Monday to Friday. On the other hand, senior citizens, pregnant and immunocompromised employees shall adopt the alternative work arrangement and shall physically report to work on a scheduled rotational basis.
This is in accordance to the Amended Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of the Community Quarantine in the Philippines, as approved by the IATF-MEID.
However, stringent prevent measures and standard health protocols, such as wearing of masks, physical distancing, proper sanitation, hand washing, using of thermal scanners, cleaning and disinfecting of offices, shall still be observed. Departments and offices are also instructed to modify workspaces to comply with the required physical distancing.
In addition, documents from the public clientele shall be continue to be received and released at the Davao City Recreation Center (formerly Almendras Gym).
The implementation of these guidelines manifests the city’s continuous efforts of ensuring the safety of its employees.
The new work arrangement shall continue to be in effect until such time the State of National Emergency will be lifted or until the City Government of Davao deemed it satisfactory to lift the declaration.
